What happens inside the Hygibox:
Besides a blower which either blows ambient air directly or heats it into the Hygibox there is a UV ozone sterilizing lamp inside.
The lamp emits short-wave UV radiation below 200 nm.
Below 200nm ultraviolet radiation is so short-wave and energy-rich that it is absorbed by molecular oxygen (O2); the molecular oxygen (O2) is split into two free oxygen radicals (2 O), each of which reacts with another molecule of oxygen (O2) to form ozone (O3).
As a positive side effect in this case, the DNA structure of viruses, bacteria and other microorganisms is destroyed and deprived of the ability to reproduce. This short-wave UV radiation kills viruses, bacteria and other microbes.
We offer two available widths: 400mm and 500mm.
